Paradigm’s work for Equinix has included structural engineering for major new corporate facilities and expansions to existing facilities with complex design and construction requirements, including performance-based engineering and enhanced seismic designs with specific emphasis on reduction of business interruption.

Paradigm was the structural engineer of record for this 350,000 gsf three-story precast concrete data center, and also provided the structural design of the foundation system to support a 1M gallon water tank to be used as water storage. This project incorporated a unique seismic design for a building that was, until the recently, believed to be a non-seismically active region.
